Rebecca A. Cheatham

Becky Cheatham was born and raised in Sylvester, Georgia, the Peanut Capital of the World. She was reared in a small country church that her family helped establish over 150 years ago.  She joined Christ Church in 1977.  Becky has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in speech pathology from the University of Georgia and currently serves as the director of the St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System Foundation.  Becky has two grown daughters; her recently deceased husband, Frank, was a judge in the Superior Court of Chatham County.  In 2009, Becky was elected to serve chairman of the Standing Committee on Constitution and Canons for the Diocese of Georgia.
