Kelly P. Garrett
Kelly Garrett was born in Greensboro, Georgia in 1967 but grew up on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and St. Simons Island. She attended Christ Church, Frederica until she left to attend St. Mary’s, an Episcopal school for girls in Raleigh, North Carolina. Kelly graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Journalism in 1989 and worked in London for two years for The Prince’s Youth Business Trust. She married Will Garrett in 1995 at The Episcopal Church of the Incarnation in Highlands, North Carolina and they lived in Charlottesville, Virginia for three years while Will finished his neurology training. They moved to Savannah in 1999 and have three children: Adeline, 13, Cole, 9, and Adair, 7. Kelly helped to establish our Church’s youth and children’s Sunday school program and annual Easter egg hunt and Adeline and Cole serve as acolytes.
